Elizabeth Claire Ellie Kemper, born May 2nd, 1980 in the United States is an American comic and actor. Her most famous role is playing Erin Hannon on the NBC sitcom The Office, and Kimmy Schmidt on the NBC comedic Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Her other notable roles include her supporting roles in the film Bridesmaids and 21 Jump Street. Ellie Kemper was an American actress, best known for her comedic characters in The Office, a television comedy show. Her most recent appearance on the film Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in which she is the lead, has brought her much attention and fame. Kemper's career began in movies, following a few guest appearances. The first film she appeared in was the 2009 comedy by a mystery team. The Office was her first important television role. The show gained a lot of attention for her character as a witty and charming receptionist. The show was on from the beginning until its conclusion in 2013.
