Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her work in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. Also a dancer, she is also a model. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. From the time she was a young child, she had been trained in various dance forms. The first time she entered beauty contests at the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010, she began acting when she played an office receptionist on an Telemundo episode.
